Its a weird, humid, ancient, loving and haunted city. New Orleans. My absolute love for this city can not be matched. New Orleans, took me in broken, lonely, and with more anger than my 5'3 frame could hold. Short of a  long journey to The City Care Forgot. First time was when I was about 14, after that I would come to New Orleans many times, each time harder to leave than the last. Traveled with friends, a love interest that never happen and Sebastian ( maybe one day I talk about him) still am holding out that there is someone else who will visit me, Ian. Maybe, hopefully.
There is so much to love about this city and things that will make you drink! Pot holes, honesty its past insane the roads are horrid. Nothing to do about it, not going to get repaired. The pumps, soon as a storm hits everyone is focused on the pumps, and drain holes that never get clean. Humidity its a bitch, a bad bitch we hate her. Plants adore her, go figure. The love it never ending, it begins and end with the people here, the real New Orleans people. Best in world. Characters, Dames and Gents, Street Performers, The Musicians, The Holdouts all blended together to make the Crescent City the Glam of the South East.
When I was in an absolute fit of rage one day (my world had gone to shit) I was sitting on a bench mind was spinning and from no where a man sat down looked at me and said, you belong here people who have it hard in New Orleans and refuse to leave, they are New Orleans.
So enough about that for now, I will always be willing to talk about New Orleans anytime! #whodat
